Who we are

OUR STORY

Established in December 2023 as a Connecticut-based nonprofit, DACB Friends emerged from recognition that recovering the biographies of the African men and women who have planted, nurtured, and led the church is essential and urgent. Their stories are the primary building blocks in constructing a history of Christianity in Africa. As a sister organization to DACB.org, we collaborate with African writers and institutions to reshape western historical narratives by platforming untold stories, building inclusive archives, and developing resources for theological education in Africa and beyond.

Our organization is rooted in transformative storytelling, committed to restoring historical narratives and elevating the overlooked contributions of African Christian men and women of faith. Our mission drives education, social justice, and inclusive leadership.
